In major cities throughout the world non-descript buildings are springing up which are playing a huge role in powering our global economy.
Data centres might not mean much to the average person on the street but with businesses and individuals becoming more and more dependent on the internet they have become a vital component in our lives.
In short, data centres are secure facilities housing IT infrastructure, such as servers and storage systems, and are where our data, music and photographs are stored. This is why the role they play in 21st century living cannot be overestimated.
Network Energy products such as Telecom and UPS batteries produced by Leoch are widely used in communication networks and data centres at all levels to provide a key guarantee for the normal operation of communication networks.
In fact, five of the world’s top 10 carriers use the Leoch Battery. Utilizing the industry’s advanced production equipment, design concepts and production processes, Leoch can ensure that our batteries meet the needs of our customers in terms of service life, product performance and consistency.
Next month, we will be sharing our industry-leading expertise at Ireland’s largest Data Centre gathering – the DataCentres Ireland Exhibition and Conference – at RDS, Dublin.
Over two days we will be exhibiting in the Main Hall helping IT, Computer and Corporate managers from leading firms to find out more about our renowned Leoch branded lead-acid and lithium batteries. In particular, we’ll be helping attendees to learn more about our wide range of sealed Lead Acid batteries which are specifically designed to provide reliable back-up power and are ideally suited to satisfy the high-rate power requirements of the most demanding UPS applications.
We are also delighted that Leoch’s Phil Hardy has been asked to be a guest speaker on a Panel Discussion on UPS Batteries – Lithium Ion vs Lead Acid at this world class conference which features international speakers.
We’re incredibly proud to take part in this event which is taking place for the first since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. Ireland is recognised as a growth area for data centres and we cannot wait to help further promote Leoch’s innovative range of products there.
This is the first of many face-to-face data centre focussed events we’ll be taking part in over the coming year as we have exciting plans in place to attend shows in Paris, Frankfurt and London.
We’re thrilled to be able to once again be meeting managers and engineers and sharing with them our passion for our products which provide the ultimate safety net for data centres and other businesses.
