Last week we were proud to be the only battery manufacturer exhibiting at the largest crane and access equipment exhibition in the UK.
Vertikal Days trade show, held at the East of England Showground in Peterborough on 10th and 11th May, has been running for more than 15 years and is a highlight in the industry calendar.
For Leoch Battery UK, it gives us the chance to showcase all our wares to fellow exhibitors and the thousands of visitors who attend over the two days from across Europe. Our battery technology is perfect for this market.
The specialist event focusses on access platforms, cranes, telehandlers and associated lifting equipment for lifting professionals and offers a clear view of all the latest developments in the sector.
Leoch Battery UK’s sales manager Chris North has been a regular at the exhibition since its inaugural event back in 2007.
As the only battery manufacturer at the show, we offer a unique point of view, and we were delighted to be able to show how we can help. We assist customers every step of the way, from query, placing the orders, delivering what they need and ongoing technical, marketing and sales support.
This year, our stand gave us the chance to show visitors all the batteries we offer for access and lifting equipment, including our LDC range which can charge up to 80 per cent in just three hours, and the newest editions to our DT range.
The DT-L16 420ah and DT-J305 330ah, both 6V batteries, have been created to offer this well-renowned series to a wider variety of machinery. They provide long life, ease of change and deep cycling – all of which were of great interest at Vertikal Days.
It was great to be able to offer such an effective solution to those facing the problem.
As experts in our field, we are very aware of the needs of aerial work platforms, but the show highlighted the many ways construction sites as a whole need batteries and energy storage solutions, for example to power machines, provide greener generators and offer successful, reliable signalling solutions.
