2023 has seen us focus heavily on brand awareness and showcasing our products, with appearances at key trade exhibitions throughout the year.
In March the Leoch Battery team joined the world’s largest gathering of data professionals and end users at Data Centre World, where visitors sought us out for battery advice.
Our UPS batteries are key players in this market and our stand was very well attended.
In May, we were very proud to be the only battery manufacturer with a stand at the largest crane and access equipment exhibition in the UK, Vertikal Days.
A highlight in the industry calendar, the two-day event has been running for more than 15 years and gave us a chance to showcase all our wares to fellow exhibitors and the thousands of visitors.
Just a couple of months later in July, our managing director Mike Miao and sales director Chris North, joined colleagues in Zhaoqing, China, to discuss Leoch’s future goals and business planning at the Leoch Global Sales Meeting for 2023.
The annual event sees colleagues from across the world make a development plan for the next half year depending on the first six months trading. This year’s theme was ‘Together for a Mutual Future’, which focused on communication.
Energy storage, sustainability and renewables have also been a key topic in our industry this year. We have worked hard to make our voice heard in this arena, speaking to dedicated publications such as PES and exhibiting at Solar and Storage Live in October.
The expo also gave us an opportunity to introduce our sister company, Marxon, to the UK and give visitors a sneak peek of its product range. The innovative new Marxon brand offers a range of reliable energy storage solutions, including portable power stations (PPS), that use advanced lithium battery technology.
They are designed to provide clean and reliable energy for various devices, from smartphones and laptops to appliances and tools.
The products, which offer sustainable and efficient off-grid power solutions, will launch in the UK in January 2024 and we couldn’t be more excited to see what the market reaction will be.
